Hand-picked, selected, low-yielding Tempranillo, Monastrell, Garnacha Tintorera and Syrah equal parts from best plots of estate, 65-90 year old dry-farmed, pre-phylloxera vines at 750-950m altitude. Maceration during 22 days at 29°C. Aged 14 mths in 500l French Allier barrels & 24 mths in bottle. Dark ruby red, complex nose of spicy wild plums, prunes, roasted peppers. Great depth on palate, rich concentrated fruits, smooth, firm polished tannins and lingering silky finish.
