100% Graciano, 30-year-old, late-ripening vines with clay-chalky soils harvested early morning when the day is at its coolest. Grapes are de-stemmed, without crushing and fermented in 2,000l stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 22-24°C. After malolactic and alcoholic fermentation, it is aged 12 months in 90% French and 10% American oak with racking every 3 months and then aged in bottle for a year. Deep purplish red with cardinal hues. An aromatic, complex nose, of small fruits of the forest, violet, cocoa, minerals, liquorice and fine wood. Structured, tasty, fresh acidity, noble tannins, balsamic notes. Excellent varietal expression.
