100% Tinta del Pais from the oldest vineyards, aged 24 months in French Bordeaux barrels, 24 months in bottle. Brilliant, elegant, ruby red with mauve undertones. Powerful notes of wild fruit raspberry, cassis, cacao, butterscotch and spicy notes of cayenne pepper, cinnamon. Meaty, full bodied, mature fruit palate with fine ageing and a superb harmony. Structured, good balance of alcohol and acidity intermingling with a soft, glycerol, unctuous mouth feel and silky tannins. Lingering, perfumed aftertaste. Ideal with red meats, mature cheese, Iberian cold meats.
