| Made
from 100% old vine Tempranillo.
Aged 24 months in new oak barrels of Hungarian, American and
French origin, and bottled in March 2002. Deep red with glints
of brick colour on edges. Pronounced, clean, and complex aromas
on nose, with hints of spice and toast from the new oak, balsamic
undertones and chocolate, coffee and leather. Elegant, dense,
well-defined structure of fruit and oak, with rich berry fruit,
silky tannins, cigar box, cinnamon and black pepper flavours
and a strikingly long aftertaste. A classy wine drinking well
now with great potential for ageing.
