100% Tinta del Pais (Tempranillo)
from old vines, and aged for 12-18 months in 60-70% new oak
barrels of American and French origin. Very deep, almost opaque,
purple red with soft violet reddish borders. Profound, complex,
smokey, toasted and balsamic notes of cocoa, coffee, ripe
berries with leathery hints. Very intense, elegant, big structured
wine that transmits silkiness and opulence, with rich primary
blackberry fruit, cigar box, cinnamon and black pepper flavours
supported by firm tannins leaving a very wonderful lengthy
aftertaste. A classy wine drinking well now but with great
potential for ageing.
