So
called because it is made with three grape varieties : 70%
Monastrell
(from 53 year old vines), 20% Cabernet
Sauvignon and 10% Tempranillo
aged 11 months in Hungarian oak barrels. Very intense deep
cherry colour. Powerful and elegant on the nose with aromas
of black and red fruits, dark chocolate enriched by toasty
and spicy notes. Very full on the palate, fresh herbs and
ripe fruits, some balsamic notes, hints of chocolate and coffee,
well-structured with toasty notes, liquorice and spicy flavours
all well-knitted together leaving a memorable finish.
