‘This wine is for all those people of good faith who twist their boots tirelessly to carve paths we can all move along.’ A homage to those who work the land. Very limited production of only 4000 bottles, one of the few Riojas made from 100% Graciano, a low-yielding variety that thrives in warm, dry climates, and aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels.
Intense cherry colour with bright purple rim. Very fresh aromas of wild berries, herbs, balsamic, toasted cedar. Complex, meaty with mature ripe cherries, structured and integrated with firm sweet tannins
August 2014 Ferrán Centelles (Jancis Robinson's right-hand man) wrote: The wine has ripe red fruit, cedar, liquorice and cloves aromas. It has a dairy palate, with a creamy texture and lots of sweet spices. Tannins are slightly drying but not austere. It has a leathery long finish. Well-delineated classic style. Awarded 15.5 points
