65% Cabernet Sauvignon with 20% Merlot and 15% Syrah - the best selection from the Monte Odina vineyards. Aged separately in 50% French Allier and 50% new American oak for 18 months and 1 year in bottle. Intense black cherry colour, attractive and wonderfully pronounced ripe berry fruit aromas with touches of vanilla, tobacco and wild herbs. Soft on entry, a big and complex wine with grand structure and fullness on the palate, enormous concentration of rich berry fruit flavours, roasted coffee, very rounded with soft, mature background tannins and a lingering finish. Ideal with red meat, spicy food and cheeses.
